Christmas 2015

Thursday, December 31, 2015

I hope all of you had an amazing holiday! I wanted to take a minute and share a little glimpse into our home and family gatherings this Christmas. Despite the lack of snow, we thoroughly enjoyed being back in our house this year and had a great time with family and friends.

Our little fur-balls soaked up all the Christmas they could.

Quick shoot with my parents and nieces while they were in town.

I have never seen kids so focused on a Gingerbread house. There was even a small fight about the decor...ha!

Had to snag a quick one of us because he's cute and I actually did my makeup and sort of did my hair.

We finally found the most perfect old cedar barn beam for our mantle and mounted it yesterday!!

It still needs to be properly secured, so for now I'm keeping the decor on the light side...
(see what I did there...)

This years neighbor Christmas gift was some delicious Cake Mix Cookie Bars and you can find the recipe here. It's seriously the easiest recipe in the world.

Sorry, I forgot to take an after picture, I was in a rush.

Whelp, I hope you all have a fun and safe New Year's Eve and I'll catch ya in 2016.

Couldn't resist taking advantage of the crazy warm weather, had to get out there for one final official shoot of 2015 and I couldn't have asked for a better family to finish out the year with.

The Devenport Family

Love this family. We had a great evening shooting at their friends house. There are two gorgeous barns on the property so I was in Heaven. I also love shooting in a setting like that because it's more private than a park which allows us to take our time and not worry about other people needing to use the space.
